How Will They Know If I Don’t Tell the Truth?
Lying or withholding information when you apply for life insurance is very unwise. Insurance companies have the right to perform a full and complete investigation should you die within the first 2 years of being issued the policy. They can easily deny your claim and refuse to pay benefits if you have not told the truth.
Also, all insurance companies routinely search certain data bases such as the Medical Information Bureau MIB), and the Rx (Prescriptions) and MVR (Motor Vehicle Records).
